Lovestories is a revue-formatted collection of scenes and songs depicting all kinds of love. Some examples are motherly love, romantic love, insane celebrity crushes, love from afar, etc. and all are based on either famous characters and/or paintings throughout history that are interpreted in the unique manner of Jim Morgan’s style.
While much of this project is complete, this was a work in progress at the time of Jim Morgan’s death in the Fall of 2004. However, enough text and musical material exist to constitute an evening without intermission of sketches and songs of hilarity and tenderness.
